The International Santa Claus' Boxing Tournament 19 - 20 September 2026

This autumn The International Santa Claus' Boxing Tournament will be held as a two-day tournament at the legendary Lyseonpuisto High school, in the middle of the city Rovaniemi.

Ruskaturnaus boxing tournament, which has been held since 1984, is a joint effort of two Rovaniemi boxing clubs. The uncompromising work of Lapin Lukko Nyrkkeily and Rovaniemen Reipas Nyrkkeily has made the tournament one of the most interesting events of the Finnish boxing year.

The 2026 tournament will feature matches in all categories; Elite (men & women) and U17 and U19 (men & women).

It is my great pleasure, as Santa Claus, to welcome you to Rovaniemi for the international Ruska Tournament, held under my patronage here on the edge of the Arctic Circle. The fresh northern air, the colours of autumn and the Arctic spirit create a unique setting for honest and fair competition, where respect and courage go hand in hand. Boxing is a sport that measures both strength and heart – qualities we deeply value here in Lapland.
